Mulnayak:
Nearly 61 cms. high,
white-colore idol of Bhagawan Adishvar in the Padmansana posture.
Tirth: On
a small hill near the Drongiri village.
Historicity: It is difficult to estimate the antiquity of this
tirth on the hill. But many temples and ancient ruins show that it is very ancient. This
is the land of penance of Muni Gurudatt. He practised severe penance here. The popular
story goes that when Laxman was wounded in the battle between Ram and Ravan, Hanuman took
away Sanjivani from this hill to save Laxman’s life.
Other Temples: Besides this, there are 27 temples on the hill. Here is the cave where
Muni Gurudatt practised severe penance. His foot-idols are here. There are two other
temples at the foot of the hill.
Works of art and Sculpture: This is a wonderful dispensary full of various
medicinal plants and fragrant susbstances. The extraorindary scene of many various
temples, is attractive and beautiful.
Guidelines: The nearest railway station of Harvalpur, is at a
distance of 96 kilometers. From the foot of the hill, there is an ascent of one kilometer.
Bus service and private vehicles are available. There are steps for climbing the hill.
There are board and lodging provisions at the foot of the hill.
