Mulnayak: Nearly 30 cms high, black-colored idol of Bhagawan

Tirth: It
is near the Vijaymangalam village.
Historicity: This tirth was chief in the sixth century. It can, therefore, be called
an ancient tirth. In ancient times, this was the capital of Kongunadu. King Konguvelire of
this place built this temple. Even today, it reminds one of his loves for religion. The
people of this place call this temple the Amneshavar temple.
Other Temples: At present, there are no other temples.
Works of art and Sculpture: The building style of this ancient temple is very
beautiful. The highest peak of this temple reminds one of its glorious stories. The temple
has pillars. The panchakalyanaka festivals of Bhagawan and the idols of the twenty-four
Tirthankaras are marked in the ceiling. The artistic and ancient idols of Bhagawan
Adishvar and of Ambikadevi are especially delightful.
Guidelines: The nearest railway station of Vijaymangalam is
nearly 5 kilometers away and the chief city of Irod is at a distance of 20 kilometers. Bus
