
His Holiness Muni Shri Premprabhsagarji Maharaja - "Vatsalyadeep"
The renowned monk, His
Holiness Shri Premprabhsagarji, the disciple of His Holiness Acharya Shri
Durlabhsagasurishvrji, is a gifted monk of the Svetambar Murtipujak Jain tradition. He
accepted the holy orders at a young age. "Vatsalyadeep" is his alias. He is a
very good orator, bright thinker and famous writer and by virtue of his maturity and
pleasing personality he attracts people from India and abroad and leads all to the path of
religion. The literary works of this reputed writter are very famous in the native and
foreign countries and they are also translated in many languages. As a result of his
inspiration, a majestic and historical Jain temple opposite the Chandakheda Railway
Station (near Ahmedabad) and the great tirth (holy place) of Shri Samet Shikarji are under
erection.
Entitled
"The Jain Religion", this book, penned by Muni Shri Vatsalyadeep, presents the
essence of the Jain religion in a very easy and simple language. "The Jain literature
- a photographic survey" - given in the appendix at the end, briefly gives an
interesting account of the Jain religion. For the first time in the world, a boot of a
Jain monk is put on the internet screen It is hoped that Jains all over the world, will
find it easy to grasp the essence of jainism.
As many as 23 books written by
Muni Shree Vatsalyadeep, have been published.
Teaching the maxim that the
bliss of all lies in the welfare of all, he is advancing by self discipline on the upward
journey through life.
